A little bit about you
We are looking for a hard-working individual, who is honest, reliable and a hands-on operator. Leading and motivating your team to work safely and efficiently whilst they enjoy their work at Vinnies are your key priorities. With Vinnies, no two days will be the same and you will use your adaptability and previous experience to provide ‘a hand up’ to those in need.
More specifically you will have:
- Current and valid Forklift license
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing warehouse environment
- Understanding of stock control management
- Understand and demonstrate safe work practice within a warehouse environment
- A “Can do” proactive attitude and positive team spirit
- Physically fit and able to undertake safe manual handling practices
About the role
This an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join our efficient and dynamic Warehouse Team at Dandenong. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Warehouse, ensuring staff and volunteers are kept motivated and on task while still maintaining a safe and efficient work environment for your team.
You and your team will oversee the sorting of donations and ensuring they are ready for our Transport Team to dispatch to our network of 110 retail shops across Victoria.
