About St Vincent de Paul Society
For more than 170 years we have been providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria whose daily struggles can include putting food on the table, paying essential utilities and ensuring their children remain at school to obtain an education.
Our organisation provides many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria (VCV), which assist some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly.
Little bit about the role
This role plays a lead role in the design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of the Society’s document and content management environment, including the establishment of effective structures, permissions and ways of working. It provides administration and support for the Society’s SharePoint and intranet platforms and contributes to the secure, compliant and effective management of documents and content, while actively championing user engagement and driving strong adoption across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, the role collaborates to define, deliver and embed continuous improvement and compliance initiatives and controls, with a focus on uplifting enterprise-wide use of document and content management solutions and ensuring they are practical, user-friendly and well embedded.
Your responsibilities
- Optimise the design, effectiveness and control of document libraries, content roles, and permission structures to improve usability, data security and compliance.
- Support the ongoing use of the Intranet as a business-managed communications platform, while maintaining technical control and oversight.
- Monitor and report on privacy and data governance using tools that include Microsoft Purview.
- Drive automation and digitization of processes and forms through Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint development tools.
- As a key member of a broader application management team, develop skills in Microsoft Dynamics (eg CRM) and Azure services (eg Integration) over time to back up other roles.
Why work for us? We offer
- Salary packaging, sometimes called salary sacrificing is a huge attraction here! It is a popular way of providing employees in the community sector with tax benefits over and above their salary. It means the real value of a salary package can be significantly higher than the nominal value.
- We make an incredible difference in the lives of over 300,000 people every year.
- We believe in families, so we like to provide a family-friendly environment in which to work.
- We offer a place where you know you are contributing to a firm committed to helping others. We are passionate about #SocialJustice.
