These include soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria, which provides a range of services and programs for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and disadvantage. This includes crisis accommodation, drug and alcohol dependency programs, and housing.

 

About the Role

The Retail Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at driving traffic, increasing sales, and enhancing brand awareness across our retail locations. This role will focus on customer acquisition, improving customer experience, campaign development (both in-store and online) and utilising analytics to optimise marketing efforts. The position involves creating engaging and creative content strategies to capture the audience's attention, build interest, and ultimately drive sales. 

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Manage business plans and budgets effectively, ensuring ethical compliance with legislation, organisational policies, audit requirements, and report on financial status.
  • Knowledgeable in the design and production process for retail campaigns and point-of-sale materials.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work within set time frames.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of liaising, collaborating, and influencing stakeholders effectively.
  • Well-versed in e-commerce and social media platforms, with the ability to drive engagement.
  • Strong consultative approach with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovative and practical problem solver.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, internet research, and basic domain management skills.

 

About You:

You have experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to boost retail engagement. Known for your responsiveness, approachability, and service-oriented mindset, you build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance digital campaigns and programs.

 

More specifically you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing with a major retailer.
  • Proven track record in driving brand awareness and customer acquisition through diverse marketing channels and partnerships.
  • Expertise in applying the latest marketing trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and strategy development.
  • Experience in enhancing customer retention and loyalty through effective engagement initiatives.
  • Strong background in developing campaign briefs that align with brand guidelines and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in managing key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to analyse data and performance metrics to develop strategies and optimise marketing efforts.
  • Proficient in marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in the retail industry.
