About Vinnies:

On the frontline and face-to-face, the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria and its wide network of over 12,000 volunteers provide practical welfare support, advocacy and friendship for the most vulnerable members of our community. Key services include Vinnies Shops; Vinnies Soup Vans; support programs for people experiencing mental illness; home visitation; youth programs; assistance for asylum seekers and refugees; education and tutoring; and a range of other volunteer-run initiatives that assist people in need.

As part of our eCommerce team, you’ll play a vital role in connecting our products to customers nationwide, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

 

Your Impact:
As the eCommerce Coordinator, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of our online sales platforms, ensuring product listings shine and conversions soar. You’ll take charge of platform management, SEO strategy development, and team leadership, all while contributing to a positive customer journey.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee Shopify, eBay, and other marketplace operations to ensure smooth, accurate listings.
  • Optimize product listings with attention-grabbing descriptions, keywords, and imagery.
  • Expand our reach by managing listings on Amazon, Catch, Kogan, and more.
  • Research new marketplaces and growth opportunities to keep our eCommerce strategy ahead of the curve.
  • Develop and execute smart SEO strategies to boost organic traffic.
  • Use Google Analytics 4 and other tools to monitor marketplace performance and turn insights into action.
  • Collaborate with marketing for aligned campaigns across PPC, social media, and more.
  • Deliver an exceptional online shopping experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Stay on top of the latest eCommerce trends and best practices to continuously improve our platforms.
  • Lead and inspire a team of eBay Support Officers, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Provide clear direction, support, and feedback, ensuring team success and development.
  • Drive continuous improvement in everything we do, from day-to-day tasks to long-term strategies.

 

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in eCommerce, with expertise in Shopify and eBay.
  • Proven success in product listing optimization and marketplace management.
  • Strong SEO skills and proficiency in Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience leading teams to achieve great results.
  • A proactive mindset, keen problem-solving ability, and a positive team spirit.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with Magento or other eCommerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of PPC advertising and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with CMS and basic HTML.
