About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining our data platforms and reporting systems. Reporting to the Senior Planning & Reporting Lead, you'll enhance our data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities. This role is crucial as we undergo significant IT changes and aim to create a single source of truth for our data.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering: Build and manage Azure data infrastructure; integrate data from various sources.
  • BI Development: Design and maintain reporting systems using Power BI; develop data integration routines.
  • Support BI Platforms: Administer Power BI services; maintain support documentation.
  • BI Analysis: Create ad-hoc reports; develop high-quality Power BI reports.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders; improve data capture and integrity.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Qualifications: IT, Computer Science, Data or related field, or 3+ years of Data Engineering experience. Power BI certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in SQL; experience with DAX, Power Query, Python, and data warehousing.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
